Design & development of Mg die castings

The project aimed to further develop know-how and the body of expertise in magnesium die casting process, including issues related to die design, casting process parameters and the properties of magnesium castings. The project also covered other casting routes such as precision sand casting and investment casting processes, which are means for rapid prototyping of the magnesium casting applications.
