Powder maraging steel systems for tool inserts
Development of methodology to produce injection mould tool inserts using Rapid Prototyping and powder processing techniques. The project resulted in development of a unique and commercially viable powder system and sintering process capable of producing fully dense metal inserts for injection moulding process (tested using glass filed nylon).
